    Free Consultation Available 24/7

If you were injured in a car accident, construction accident, or serious negligence case in New York, speak directly with an experienced attorney today. No fee unless we recover compensation

What Happens After You Get in Touch

Calling a law firm after an accident is unfamiliar territory for most people, so here is what the process actually looks like.

    • You speak with someone about what happened. The first conversation is a straightforward discussion of the accident, your injuries and where things stand now. There is no charge for it and no obligation to go further.
    • The firm looks at who may be responsible. That is often more than one party, particularly on construction sites and in commercial vehicle cases.
    • Deadlines get checked early. New York deadlines vary depending on who is at fault, and some arrive much sooner than people expect.
    • Records and evidence are gathered. Photographs, video, incident reports and medical records all get harder to obtain as time passes.
    • You decide what to do next. If the firm takes the case you will be told what to expect. If it is not a case the firm can help with, you will be told that too.

What to Bring to a Consultation

Nothing is required for a first conversation. If you have any of the following, they help:

    • Any police, incident or accident report
    • Photographs or video of the scene, the vehicle, the equipment or your injuries
    • Names and contact details for witnesses
    • Medical records, discharge papers and prescriptions
    • Your own insurance policy, and any correspondence from an insurance company
    • Pay records if you have missed work
    • Any letters, emails or forms you have already been sent or asked to sign

If you do not have these, that is fine. Much of it can be obtained later.

    How Fees Work

Consultations are free. Most personal injury cases at the firm are handled on a contingency basis, often described as no-win, no-fee. In plain terms, attorney’s fees are a percentage of the recovery and are owed only if there is one. If the case does not result in a recovery, no attorney’s fee is owed. Case costs and how they are handled are explained before you sign anything, so the arrangement is clear at the outset rather than at the end.

    Areas Served

The firm represents injured people throughout New York City, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island, and appears in surrounding counties as well. Consultations are available in English and Russian.

If You Cannot Come to the Office

Serious injuries make travel difficult. If you or a family member cannot get to the office, say so when you call and other arrangements can be discussed.

Contacting the firm does not by itself create an attorney client relationship, and the information on this page is general rather than legal advice about your situation.
