Bus Pedestrian Collision

Recovered $12,500,000 for a pedestrian that was struck by bus making a left turn from behind. The defendants' investigation concluded that the plaintiff walked into the side of the bus but we were able to obtain a transcript of the initial call between the driver and their employer which indicated that the incident occurred as the bus was turning.

Bicycle Crash Verdict

Obtained a verdict of $11,000,000 for a bicyclist who was struck by a car from behind while working. Caesar & Napoli turned down an offer of $600,000 during negotiations.

Birth Injury Negligence

Recovered $6,500,000 for a boy in a medical negligence case stemming from his delivery at birth. The family of the young man came to our office more than nine years after the negligence to determine if the hospital and doctor contributed to the child's condition. The defendants settled on the eve of trial.

Dangerous Roadway Crash

Recovered $5,100,000 for a man involved in an automobile accident. The young man drove off a New York City road on a rainy night and crashed in a single car accident. A lawsuit against the city of New York was based on the city's failure to maintain the road in a nonslippery and safe condition. The city of New York settled on the eve of trial.

Red Light Crash

Recovered approximately $5 million for a young woman involved in an automobile accident in Brooklyn. Our client's car was struck by a vehicle that ran a red light. The offending vehicle had a $25,000 limited policy of insurance. Caesar & Napoli sued the city of New York and various construction companies that were performing roadway construction at the accident site. The case settled before jury selection.

Childbirth Death Settlement

Settlement of $4 million on behalf of the family of a woman who died during childbirth.

NJ Bus Crash

Recovered $3,210,000 for several passengers involved in a bus crash in New Jersey. The insurance company offered zero dollars in compensation for one of the passengers but Caesar & Napoli ultimately obtained a verdict of $2.993 million for him.

Ladder Fall Injury

Recovered $2.45 million for a construction worker that fell off an 8-ft. ladder without safety equipment or scaffolding.

Forklift Pedestrian Injury

Recovered $2,000,000 for a pedestrian run over by a forklift while crossing the street.
